Out of all the reviews of these I’ve seen. You’re the first one to show how customizable the software actually is. Great job and thanks.
  • @staticsm
FINALLY! A video that showcases how to actually wire these fans! Thank you so much.

I ordered a few of these for my Cooler Master C700M case over the weekend. I wanted to upgrade the front intake fans from 120 to 140 and replace the ones on my Corsair H150i Capellix cooler due to faulty LEDs. Some of the LEDs have died and some won't light up with the color I set the fans on. After having them in my case for 4 years, it's time to upgrade. I'm looking forward to getting them installed and I'm glad that Corsair simplified the lighting node setup this time around.

Subscribed, Thank you for actually showing details.

Bought 10 boxes of these from Newegg over the weekend and will be arriving today. 30 fans in total!!
  • @benjaminmalta2
I am buying them while watching this. That is all the encouragement I needed lol.
  • @reallyryan_
I bought 10 of these bad boys they are super bright and look good on my Capellix CPU cooler, they are nice fans.

planning to get the QL 140 2 pack. I also have the h100i rgb platinum se. I'm just wondering if it's possible to connect the LL120 that came with the AIO and the QL 140 to the same lightning node core?
  • @gjman1972
I have these fans and they are great in the RGB department but more importantly they are great in the functionality department as they keep the case cool because what good would colorful fans be if they didn’t cool things off... You did a superb job with this video I love your whole setup it’s beautiful..
  • @mikeyman12343
Hot air rises. A better fan configuration would be bottom intake. Front intake and the top and rear to be exhaust.
  • @jorddielaa
I’ve had these but because the minting for the screw need to much longer, what did I need to use for my radiator with these? Have an Corsair. Cpu cooler but not sure on screws
  • @TechnoBillyD
Great Demo. Thanks for showing the backs and pointing out you can have more than one controller. I have just ordered 2 x 3 packs of these to replace my ThermalTake riing Fans (the TT software is very buggy and often crashes after saving changes), so I am keen to replace it. Also most of the fans will be intake fans, so are mounted with the backs facing me. Nice to see these look great from the back. The software looks way more powerful as well.
  • is it possible to buy a triple pack and a single ql120 and use the control hub included in the triple pack to power/control all 4 fans?
  • Can you control the RGB just with the RGB header but without the corsair iCUE Commander ? I just order my QL120-3-pack and a 4-pin header with 3 slots to connect them to my motherboard.
  • @affilimoo
Where did u buy that 2 to 1 cable for the fans that need to be connected to the commander pro
  • @pabloesco2007
So i need to connected the two pins once for the power and once for the RGB controler (I have the Airflow 5000D Corsair) ?! The controler can't provide power and control of the Fan ?!
  • @kpv123
I noticed your installation. Is it possible to install a 140 millimeter fan in the back of the case? By back I mean the rear Near the AIO , not the side
  • @Orcasauruss
so does the RGB HUB not work with the QL120's? because I am getting a singular green LED light on my corsair fan and nothing else
  • Thank you for the review. I really wanted to get a set of these for their customisability, and needed an excuse to justify the outlay... but your review has helped me realise it’s probably just a bit overkill for me. Either way, great info and coverage of the products. Thank you 🙏🏻
  • @wb6490
Plz bro help me where i can buy the cable to link node core and comander pro ???
