The 3DS is basically the peak of Nintendo Handhelds. You have a really solid own library + the whole DS and DSi library in one package. And if you mod it you can get all the games for free, even emulators or virtual consoles.

Nintendo shut down home brewing because otherwise they cant keep selling you the same games over and over again.

I just got my New 2DS XL! Loving it so far, been wanting an original 3DS since 2011 Absolutely love it.

I have an original 3DS, a 2DS and a DSiXL all modded with 32gb cards loaded with games and I'm still in love with the aystem. I know having a 2ds and a 3ds is kinda redundant but people don't seem to carry these anymore and I'm still trying to complete streetpass pictures so having 2 they streetpass each other like 3 times a day.

Had mine for nearly 11 years, bought a new one XL one earlier this year and man oh man. The 3ds is truly the gift that keeps on giving.

Me and my older brother saved money for a 2DS XL. And after we modded it, oh boy. 3DS has really good games, you have Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Metroid, Kingdom Hearts, Resident Evil, Smash Bros, Tomadachi Life, Street Fighter, Nintendogs, and the list goes on. 150$ well spent.

Because it is simply the better handheld compared to the switch. Its games are optimized for handheld gameplay, and the 2-screen design is amazing

Sold my 3DS a couple of years ago after not having used it for several months at the time, I massively regret it now not just because its value has continued to go up but there are so many games i now want to revisit, its just not the same in an emulator, even if you can upscale to make them look really good.

1:41 My best guess is that Nintendo wants to block people from enjoying these old 3DS games likely because it takes attention away from newer systems, newer content, like the content currently being sold on Switch. Having content freely available on an older platform gives people an alternative to where they can play and experience games and I suppose that proposes a problem from their strict business perspective.

i love it best because of 3D. The 3D itself is insanely immersive and awesome with zero downsides.

I think modding is gonna peak more than TikTok in 2020

My sister had an original 2DS but the battery expanded, so she bought a new one. A new console. So I ordered a new battery, repaired it, and modded it. Now it has a lot of games and I really love it.

I never had a DS but the games surprisingly play very well on the Wii U game pad . GBA games too. Great video!

I have a New 3DS XL, a New 2DS XL, and an original 3DS I've owned since 2013. I played it religiously until 2016, then left it by the wayside until earlier this year. I discovered all it could do and got the New 3DS XL.

The 3DS is still my trusty handheld. As someone with chronic pain issues in the hands, the Switch is not a handheld for me.

I saw the way the wind was blowing and I always wanted to get one, but never had as a kid. Only thing I had was the original psp as a kid, as like… the only person lol. Few years ago decided wanted to get a 3ds but been unable to find one anywhere in my country, even used, that was like the latest model. Wasn’t until this Christmas my boyfriend went to Japan and I had him pick one up for me from there cuz twas really the only place you could still buy them. I got that as a Christmas present this year and have been using it almost daily last 6 months since. I love this thing. Been playing bit of everything honestly. Main games have been, Stella Glow, MH4U, MH Stories, Mario Kart 7, New Super Mario Bros 2, Mario Golf World Tour, and also my first ever pokemon game, Pokemon Ultra Moon. But also just tested aaaalll the games. Lately I’ve been getting into Yo-Kai Watch and Inuzuma Eleven, and their both mindblowingly good games tiz insane. If I played these as a kid would probably be my favorite game lol

I was already playing my 3DS every now and then, but only recently modded my N3DSXL, and had to even replace my circle pad. Now I enjoy it just about as much as I did when I originally bought the system. Now I REALLY need to finish Dragon Quest VIII, among other games I never got to.

My first and only handheld ever was an o3Ds. I got my 3Ds actually pretty late, I got it in 2019. After 2020, I lost interest and stopped playing it for an entire year. Then, late 2022, I found it again, and actually found it pretty fun. Early 2023, I got a new SD card and everything and also got into the modding community. Now I spend hours playing it with friends/siblings. I took it to school and got a StreetPass because this guy in my class had a 2Ds. Can't believe this thing is getting popular again! :D

I absolute love my 3DS, the switch realease in 2017 did not slow down how much I play with my 3DS
