He's asked to play guitar and sing, and he says he's not really prepared--PAUL MCCARTNEY--who has been doing just that his whole life, is not prepared enough in his mind. It shows you the level of his professionalism and desire to give the maximum to his audience. Each time Parkinson compliments him, he smiles shyly, looking away a bit--after all these years, still so humble, still so down to earth. You've got to love that man!

"Forever and ever people will be singing and whistlening your songs in a thousand years time". Amen

English interviewers are typically so much better than American interviewers. No fluff or garbage. Just good reasonable conversation. I appreciate it very much.

Paul's such a sweetheart. At the end you can see the gratitude and delight in his eyes when Parkinson tells him people will be singing his songs in a thousand years' time. To those who say this is not the real Paul, all you need do is look in his eyes at that point to know the truth. He's a gentle soul who has had to learn to be guarded. And what jewels he has given the world from his heart!

Yes, Parkinson was right. Paul's songs will live on for a 1000 years.

What a fabulous talent. And so down to earth. A great fella Paul.
-
That compliment at the end from Parky, says it all. We will never know these times again people. How lucky we are.x

Oh Paul. I love you. He was so relaxed and sweet in this interview. Every interview he does with Parky is like this.
-
Forever and ever, people will be singing and whistling your songs in a thousand years time. Man, you can truly see in Paul's eyes that he was moved by that statement!
-
You can really see the affection and respect these two men have for each other.

Paul being so moved at the end by Parky’s comment on his music being whistled in a thousand years 💕 I’ve watched a lot of interviews with Paul and I’ve not seen that. Beautiful ❤️

Paul McCartney is the cream of the crop as a songwriter and performer! I've had the great fortune of seeing him live twice in my life. First time was with the Beatles on Aug 28, 1966 at Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles (the evening BEFORE their last show at Candlestick Park, San Francisco). I still have my ticket stub. I have EVERY album and I became a semi professional musician largely because of the musicianship of the Beatles and learning how to sing good harmony by picking out each of their parts. I saw Wings in 1990 and was floored at how much he loves to please the audience and gave us a great show with his massively powerful vocals. He has the power when he wants it and learned to scream from little Richard. I LOVE PAUL ♥

I love all the Beatles and have seen Paul 7 times. He has always shown "absolute class"...no matter when and no matter where...always classy.

Paul deserves to have the life hes got as he worked hard for it, he started with nothing from hamburg to have his reward to day, it wasnt handed on a plate like most of these five minute x factor wonders! they will never go down in history unlike paul A top notch musician songwriter composer! he inspired me to play the guitar. Long live paul good luck to you and keep on rocking mate !!!

The honesty of this guy - at the end he gets emotional there . What a super fellow
-
He is just completely special. An amazing man
-
He still has more class than most people of 'celebrity'.....I admire his humility during this interview. He has always been a favorite song writer and performer since I was about 14 years old... Being almost 68 now that is a long long time!
-
