Battlefield 1 - High CPU usage without identifiable cause

Can anyone expain me this?

0:00 was today - 90-100% CPU usage, fps drops

1:00 was yesterday: 70-80% CPU usage, constant fps

Same graphic settings, same computer. Although totally different gameplay, I have to be lucky to get a decent gameplay. Seems like a random issue.

At least you don't lag. Since 1st august i have like 20-30 fps and it's unplayable.

yes i have the same problem. one day its running good and other day its unplayeble

well i have excatly the same situation and trying to figure out right now even tho i have old cpu (i5 2500k OC to 4.2ghz, r9 280 3gb, 8gb ram ) on some servers 70-80% cpu usage, on some 90-100% usage dont know what cause it. check also this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gwipo9hx4qI&t=408s
