Thyroidectomy Part 3 what is it and what's next

Hello Shannon. First of all let me say thank you for these videos. I am having a complete thyroidectomy on Thursday, 1/13, for removal of a huge thyroid tumor that is suspected to be cancerous. My chest is hurting from anxiety as I type this. I am scared, I am exhausted, I have been gaining weight like crazy ( no matter what I do. ) and I am freezing all the time. My thyroid levels are all normal - 12 years ago they removed the right side of my thyroid for pre-cancerous cells - over the past few years my tumor has appeared but because of Covid this is my first opportunity to have surgery.
