Did Blade Runner 2049 live up to the original? Does it shine on it's own? Let us know what you thought of the new Blade Runner movie below!

Blade Runner 2049 has restored my faith in Hollywood.
-
I cried at the end of it. Last time crying over a Sci-fi film was watching A.I. years ago. Visually absolutely stunning and Bryan Rosling was amazing.
-
Just got out of the theater. It's a beautiful film. Don't miss it in the theater.

This interview has restored my faith in interviews. Fantastic questions and a really cool and calm atmosphere. You rarely get that feeling in these cases.
-
I wish every director would have that mentally. " I knew they would make it, and I didn't want anyone else to fuck it up"
-
seeing it in IMAX 3D is something special. Exceeded expectations and was visually stunning.

Harrison Ford clearly saw Drive (2011) haha. These two are awesome people. And the movie? The movie was a masterpiece, so beautifully shot. Denis Villeneuve is one of my favourites now and up there with Christopher Nolan as one of the absolute best directors of this generation. Roger Deakins, the cinematographer of Bladerunner 2049 should win an academy award for his job. Absolute masterpiece of a film. I sometimes forget that movies, film is art, even the ones from hollywood. This film reminded me about that and why I love film.

It's quite amazing that they kept with the tone and cinematography of the original while also incorporating elements of some of the works that were inspired by the original.

I was blown away by the original Bladerunner, though I preferred the Director's cut. I even have the soundtrack, to the Director's cut. I was too scared to watch the sequel because I loved the first one so much and I didn't want to ruin the experience. I also wasn't on the Ryan Gosling train and then caught the movie on the TV one night, part way through, and found it so compelling that I watched it right through. I was even impressed with Ryan Gosling. This film converted me.
-
In my opinion this film made the first one even better. 👍🏻

It's awesome to see these interviews and the way everyone involved is carrying themselves. It's clear to see that they KNOW they made an amazing movie and they just go with it. Rightly so. Also, I just love Dennis' humbleness. Even though he did direct some of the best movies of the last decade, lol.
-
I think I know what Villeneuve is up to. He was to follow in the footsteps of a movie he personally adores while at the same time he wanted to create something new, something compelling the way he makes movies. Much more daunting than inventing your own completely new world and visual aesthetics.

Blade Runner 2049 is such a great movie! I have watched it a few times and I’ve really found a lot of respect for Ryan Gosling. He’s really good.
-
Best film I’ve seen in over a decade (at least).
-
The movie was phenomenal! Everything, from the cinematography (#DeakinsDeservestheDamnOscar) to the acting, all the way to the practical effects and sound design, was nearly flawless! Definitely see it in the biggest and loudest theater. You really don't want to miss this film!

I like the interviewer, very cool and chill.
