wirtual: it might seem crazy to cry tears of joy over a video game me, crying despite not even having done it: yeah totally
  • @yeetmaster8760
In the time it took them to make Deep Dip 2 Wirtual was able to post Deep Dip 1. At this pace the Deep Dip 2 video will come out a week before Deep Dip 3. Can't wait!

Your fall at 97% resonated with me so much. I'm a competitive ballroom dancer and my partner and I won everywhere we went and made it all the way to Nationals, where we finished in 2nd place. It is a proud, but very hollow feeling having that kind of success only to come up just short in the end. You and I will probably never meet, but I'm proud of you for finishing the map. I look forward to seeing your success on the next one! :)

“an outlet I use to experience mastery” is one of the most profound ways I’ve heard someone describe why they put so much time, effort, and passion into their hobby. Wonderful video!
  • @George_vv
This tower took 20x longer to finish than the last tower. The next tower will take 1200 hours for Wirtual to finish. Can't wait!

IT'S THE YEAR OF THE MAIN CHANNEL BOYS LET'S GOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

The storytelling ability you have to make me watch an entire 43 minute video on a game I literally don't even play... You’ve truly cracked YouTube.👏👏

Hearing what that Dollar Store Dr. Disrespect knockoff said at the end reminded me of a certain adage: "A master has failed a thousand times, whereas a novice has yet to fail once". It's only through that long, arduous journey full of stumbles and failures that one can understand and appreciate what attaining mastery over anything truly means. It's never been about mastery over others; it's about mastery over one's self. I'm a couple weeks late, but congratulations on completing Deep Dip. It is a victory hard fought and well earned!

That comment of "can someone explain to me if this was hard to do?" (41:56) with that dismissive tone coming from somebody making react content is just the peak of irony
  • @Waunzel
"Trackmania is an outlet I use to experience mastery." is such a succinct and powerful way to explain why someone would spend thousands of hours playing a video game. Great vid and great editing!!

Being an actor, one of my coaches said to me, “the only reason people say what we do looks easy, is because of the countless years of experience we put into out work, for our own expertise”. This applies to you too Wirtual and everyone seeking mastery. Congratulations, it’s only up from here! (No pun intended)
  • thank you wirtual for editing 60 hrs for us plus other peoples run, not surprised this took 4 months to edit, i think i speak for us all when i say we are truly grateful.
  • "Was this difficult to do?" after watching this, gives you the same feeling as after watching an amazing show for years, with the most heartbreaking arcs, most tearjerking of storylines, most epic of fights and the best finally possible, only for some dude to watch just the last two minutes and declare that he doesn't get why so many people like it.

I just noticed something. Bren got a 47:05.198 and the author medal is 45:00.000. So that makes you the first one ever to get the author medal. Massive respect for pushing through on this one. GGs

Just want to say, completely ignoring the monumental achievement that is completing this monster of a map, this was an incredible video. The pacing was on point from start to finish. Never felt like one topic had more time than was warranted, but nothing felt rushed either. Music selection was top tier, every song matched and accentuated the tone perfectly. Tone was great as well. The usual Wirtual style, but with an ending that wrapped the viewer into the emotions you were feeling. The clip selection was exceptional. Specifically during the final ascent, how the areas that you struggled with or otherwise noted as special throughout the video made a reappearance. Excellent callback and a great way to begin signaling a wrap up. I can’t say it enough, this video is peak youtube. congratulations for pulling a clutch Wirtual.

people (including me) simply don't understand how ffing hard this is. This is not only one of the best players ever but also insane levels of concentration and dedication. indomitable human spirit!
  • @seanrrr
"Can someone explain to me if this was hard to do?" Bro, there's an on-screen timer at 60 hours...
  • @VanoooK
Wirtual is carrying Nadeo's marketing all on his lonesome.

If someone said that to me (‘kinda made it look like a hot wheels game’), 45:00, about content I spent hours and hours on, as well as having years of experience on that game, I would just say “Try it, same conditions as I did it in, try and make it NOT look like that”. Anyways, really good, I remember when this actually happened back in 2022, and I still find it amazing, even though I haven’t really played the game. Hope your future endeavours go well, and I hope you keep making amazing content!
