I’m amazed that the Marines didn’t call at ease or even get at parade rest when Sgt Major walked in. It must have been set up that way, because otherwise I can’t imagine.

Right next to being tactically and technically proficient, THIS TOO is extremely important. It makes the difference of a reenlistment for some and it reignites some who have been bogged down by so called "day to day bs"
