I adore that in the end, this show wasn’t about the Multiverse. It wasn’t about “getting the X-men in the MCU” or anything like that. It was about Loki. A focused, emotional character study from beginning to end.

Remember Loki spent CENTURIES with those people. They are not only his friends but his 2nd family. He had to say goodbye to his 2nd family after losing his first family. Loki truly is the most tragic MCU character.

How perfect it is that the Time Stone has been green from the start.

"I could've done it father! I could have done it! For you! For all of us." "No, Loki." -Thor (2011) "I know what kind of god I need to be. For you. For all of us." "No!" "Loki!" -Loki 2x6 (2023)
  • Whatever they choose to do with Loki in the future, the one thing that I want to see more than anything else is Loki picking up Mjölnir.

Natalie Holts score skyrocketed to the top of my MCU favorite themes. Those final tracks are incredible

I love that Loki’s last conversation with Mobius was his also his first conversation with Mobius.
  • "Victor says "Pumpkins" because in his time it was an expression people would use when something was awesome. I believe it's a shorten version of the Victorian phrase "That's some pumpkins!" meaning "That's really terrific!" Basically Victor was saying "Awesome!"

I thought the whole point was that now there is no sacred timeline. The sacred timeline was what went through the loom. Anything else was pruned. Loki chose to destroy HWR’s loom, setting all the timelines free, giving them all a chance to thrive. So, he now holds them all together through the tree, where they all grow. So every timeline is sacred now. Such a beautiful episode.
  • Loki chose his burden and found his Glorious Purpose. Such a beautiful sacrifice

Honestly, this is one of the best things Marvel has ever made

It makes sense that Loki becomes the heart of Ygdrassil, considering in mythology, Loki is the cause if Ragnarok.... which is not only the end of time, but also the rebirth of time, too.

This episode alone made me want to see Tom Hiddleston as The Doctor..haha, as he loops he does that kinda chaotic energy so well.
  • Loki has the best character arc in the entire MCU, and has one of the greatest character arcs of all time. He started the show as a god who wanted to rule everyone and everything in the universe for selfish reasons, to a god who selflessly watches over and protects the MULTIVERSE, in isolation, from a throne outside of time and space. Mobius told him that he needed to choose which burden he could live with to fulfill his purpose, and as heavy as it was, this was the only choice in which all of his friends and family as well as all of the people of the multiverse would be saved. He is a true hero now. My heart absolutely breaks that this Loki is now and possibly always will be alone, but at least he can watch over everyone he cares for from afar. ALL HAIL LOKI, THE GOD OF STORIES!!!!

Just a quick thing, He who remains isnt in play. Since loki went back to a time where he who remains was still dead. loki just went to the end of the plans and reset it in his own way, rather than play into he who remains road, he changed the equation. Some might say loki is the new he who remains.
  • For me Loki had the best character\redemption arc of anyone in the MCU. Loki played the long game. He's literally holding the MCU together. Tom Hiddleston deserves all the praise in the world for his portrayal of the complicated Loki.
  • @zulawoo
Even after centuries and centuries learning about physics and everything, it still took him soooo much time for the next steps because you notice how trained he is in every single step timely makes....
  • @WaVe808s
I feel like Loki is so OP and he’s such a high level being that I’m intrigued to find out how the regular earth-bound avengers will be able to even connect with that. Loki is quite literally holding the MCU together😂
  • @LeeCarlson
There is an entire story arc where the Avengers need to link up with Avenger Prime, who turns out to be the pivot entity for the Avengers' existence, and yep, he's Loki armed with Mjolnir (he's worthy) and Cap's shield.
