I was the first white child placed in a black foster home in GA in 1980 which was very controversial at the time. My foster family is the only family I have ever known who loved me unconditionally regardless of what other people thought! I am so glad the world has changed for the better and this young man has such a loving family after being in foster care for so long!

  • Love this so much! My parents adopted my best friend when we were teenagers. Here we are 18 years later, still best friends and sisters!
  • That's great that NOT only did he find his forever home, but got himself a brother that's his bff too

  • You have me crying over here. When that kid was being walked over there by the social worker ... priceless.

The narrator's voice when he says "poptarts" sends shivers down my spine.

If you "disliked" this, please explain to me WHY you did.

Aaaaand the moral of the story is...Pop-Tarts provide more than just a sugar high! 😊♥️🤗

Many people don’t realize just how IMPORTANT it is for young foster children to interact with other kids. It teaches them social skills without lecturing, and even more importantly (especially in this boy’s case) it teaches them about familial love without making it hard to grasp. To the untrained eye, it’s just two boys playing games and eating Pop Tarts. But to folks like myself, it’s the early formation of brotherly love, and it’s so sweet to see.

Ah why cant we just love each other? I have always wanted to adopt a kid. watching this is giving me strength to go forward

I love how they put so much into his “adoption proposal” or whatever you want to call it. To see their family and friends show up and just how many people are were there to support Andrew and his new parents and siblings was special. I’m so happy for him to be back with the family he spent so much time with and loved and he knows they love him and he’s safe.

That boy has a family now. Color has nothing to do with it. Awesome story and God bless that family
