Come with me on a journey through time and space...well, to 1993 (!) where I'll be building, painting and playing my way through Games Workshop's first Warhammer 40,000 starter set.

In this episode, I try my hand at making the cardstock terrain a little easier on the eye!

Speaking of eyes - keep your eye-holes open for the next episode, where I'll be battling my way through twenty Goff Boyz!!!

You cut foamcore like you peeled a ton of potatoes in an old timey navy ship.
  • I love the white dwarf cover art as posters on the walls. 👍
  • FYI a drop of washing up liquid in the watered down PVA mix would break the surface tension and cause it to soak in rather than bead up. Love a bit of 2nd Edition - thank you.

Instead of dripping the PVA on with a brush to set everything, mix 2:1 water and Mod Podge. then get a little spritzing spray bottle thing, and spray it over with that. Works wonders to seal everything in! Mod Podge works so much better for sealing stuff than PVA.
