Mechanical watches are circular because it’s basically a gauge used to represent time. It makes no sense for a smart watch to be circular. There’s a reason screens are rectangular

What about a true square display, 1:1 aspect ratio? still ok for watchOS and enough of change ... and the width increase won't be a trouble wearing
