Wonderful when you can keep well-built old tools like that up and running Rusty! Like and shared.

I instantly smiled when I saw you take the motor stator out and turn it around. Good repair, Lloyd. Replacement part prices are getting to the point where you either find a clever solution as you did or you will be forced to junk the machine. Thanks for the video. Have a pleasant weekend.

That looks like a great welder. It was great that you were able to find a replacement fan and I like how you turned the motor around to change the direction. The caster upgrade is great

That was a cool repair Lloyd, that motor let me think of my Sander motor

Good work. That was a great way to get past having to use their expensive part.

Better than new now Lloyd. I must admit I was a little anxious when you fired up the fan in case you had an out of control hover craft, but all was good.

Hey Rusty. They only break when you want to use them. You did a good job on your welder. Thanks for sharing.πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ

Nice fix Lloyd! The money you saved paid for the wheels. Worked great! πŸ‘πŸ‘

Nice job. I recently bought the same welder from my brother who moved. Having wheels on it sure makes it nice.

Hi Lloyd! I have a similar welder, that I've had just about as long as you've had yours, so I found your video very interesting. Thanks for showing us how. Those casters will make your life easier. Take care.

Hello. Welding machine fan failure. You repurpose the range hood motor. That's a great idea. You reversed the direction of the wind by flipping the motor attachment. You successfully repaired the welding machine fan! You installed four rollers at the bottom of the welder. It is effective in moving the welding machine. This is another great idea! (^_^)v Thank you my friend.

For lubricating the castors, is castor oil best? Good engineering solution.
