Dreamcast was so under appreciated, I remember some guy laughing in my face back in the day when I said I had one and they were good. 19 years later, I stand by that!
  • Soul Calibur was the greatest generational leap in graphics on consoles I have ever seen. I loved the Dreamcast and it was worth every dollar I paid for it back in 9/9/99.

The Dreamcast is the definition of thinking of a game system that brings a smile to your face.

The Dreamcast is my favourite "drinking" console. A few beers playing NFL Blitz, Crazy Taxi, 3rd Strike, such a great console for fast paced action games.
  • A lot of the feelings you had are exactly what my experience was like when I got my Dreamcast (because the PS2 was sold out). I just have to say it's awesome seeing someone love gaming like you do. Great video!
  • I remember when I was in sixth grade my best friend got a Dreamcast right when they came out and he had Soul Caliber and Sonic Adventure. I remember spending hours in his house playing those games. Spending the night every weekend if I could. Daydreaming in class about it. So many good memories!

9/9/99 still stands as one of my fondest video game memories. Sonic Adventure and SoulCalibur blew my 11 year old mind all over the carpet. It took my mom weeks to clean up the brain matter.

About 6 years ago my dreamcast kept restarting and dying, I couldn't let my memories die with it. So I took the time and replaced a few parts and had it working again. I still put more time in my dreamcast than my ps4 or PC. It definitely deserves a historic mention in a library.

After watching this I realized what sets your channel apart. You’re an awesome story teller. There’s hundreds of gaming YouTube’s who rail off a bunch of boring emotionless facts about the DC, but can never serve the unique feeling of having a Dreamcast in the early 2000s. Your stories brought me back to 99 when I was a giddy little kid who experienced the magic of the Dreamcast just like you. Thanks for the video man

The Dreamcast was a fantastic console. So many great games in such a short span. And with such creativity!

Your's is the most nostalgic gaming channel that exists. I'm glad your around making the videos that you do. Respect. 😎

The nostalgia and your enthusiasm about this gems brought happy tears to my eyes.

What was so amazing about the Dreamcast for me (and I'm sure many others) was the fact that a home console finally caught up to arcades. I picked up the s-video cable day one and couldn't believe how SoulCalibur looked. My original Dreamcast still works like a charm to this day.

Great list! Dreamcast is such a great system :) the games still look and play great today! Might make my own top 10 list.. DC Deserves more love!

Dreamcast graphics were so clean and sharp. It was a little disappointing seeing the PS2 dark and jagged graphics, especially in Tekken. Soul Calibur blew my mind with its sharpness and fluidity.

The DC is still my favorite console it's crazy to think that next year it's going to be 20 years old.
