His dad got caught cheating, and instead of owning up to his actions, he doubled down, punished his son and called him a liar. How very Christian of him.
-
I believe Sean saw exactly what he thought he saw. His father is creepy.
-
Why would a little boy lie about seeing his fathers affair?! It makes no sense whatsoever for his parents to be in such deep denial
-
His father is an evil creep. He destroyed his son and the entire household. What a disgusting monster.
-
"My love changed" Who says that about their child?! I absolutely believe Sean. His Dad just wants what he saw to be swept under the rug.
-
“Sean started gravitating towards ‘fringe kids.’” Lady, your husband is the fringe.
-
His parents are scary. Yeah, a man ruined his life over something he made up, lady. Good grief.
-
Idk why but it made me happy that everyone else in the comments saw right thru his dad. Totally guilty. His "family" put him thru a lot. I'm not saying numbing is the answer but like, I get it.
-
Oh, man! I believe Sean 100%. At this point, I don't think his alcoholism stems as much from what he saw, but rather the fact that both parents are calling him a liar. It's so sick that his father is willing to let his son die rather than man up to his wife. I think mom knows; the way she turned her head and moved her hair when she said she didn't believe Sean said everything. His father is a C U Next Tuesday.
-
Dad is definitely a cheater, as many times as he blinked in that short amount of time denying it. Then he has to gall to punish his son for HIS bad behavior. Your kids are f-ed up cause of you my guy.
-
you can tell the mom is not successful in lying to herself about the affair
-
Sean deserved a better father (and mother). Heartbreaking.
-
Good job Sean. Your dads affair is his burden and not yours. Let it go. He can deny all he wants and your mom can forgive all she wants. You're responsible for your own decisions/actions. Keep up the good work.

5:12 “there’s no question in my mind that it’s not true” * can’t even make eye contact with the camera *

14 days free of the bondage of alcohol. Hallelujah!
-
The Dad got caught, and it ruined his son's life. That is F'd up.
-
That dad should just admit it. It’s totally true
-
His dad was definitely having an affair!!! I can’t believe he grounded his son for telling on him! His father is TERRIBLE! He sounds like a narcissist!
-
Something tells me the father is lying about the affair I don’t think he would have made it up
