The music of Link's Awakening remake is so underrated. Such a beautiful soundtrack that evokes all sorts of emotions, very fitting to the game itself.
  • Minish Cap is probably one of my all time favorite handheld games. The story, music, and controls for a GBA game were stellar for it's time/technological capabilities. This game will always have a special place in my heart.

Triforce Heroes' soundtrack is so unnecessarily amazing damn
  • @vin7032
Opening with the Link's Awakening remake track was great. That has to be one of not the best remakes I've ever played. It felt like a lot of love was put into it, including musically.

I appreciate the ones I recognized, and am excited to play the games with the ones I didn't recognize
  • 25:04 "Beyond the circles of the world, there is nothing." -Morgoth, The Silmarillion. Man, the fight against Demise is so perfect.

27:48 I’ve always loved to death the Spirit Tracks staircase theme, finally someone giving it the credit it deserves 🤩
  • @elias8968
I‘m just really glad Spirit Tracks gets the recognition that it deserves :,) that game was my childhood

Thank you, almost every Zelda playlist have the same songs, this is good for a change.
  • Title: Zelda music that is underappreciated Kicks off with the melody I taught myself to play with a flute at middle school

If you haven't already, this should be a series for Nintendo games. Love underappreciated music!
  • @AdondeBoy
I loved the OST for the Link's Awakening remake, I'm glad you opened with it's staff roll (ironically), it's a beautiful piece and haven't seen any kind of appreciation towards it. I'm a bit bummed regarding Ryo Nagamatsu's departure from Nintendo (I always thought his music in general was underrated among the community) as I thought he really outdid himself with the remake and wanted to see more of him in the Zelda franchise, but apparently that's not going to happen. Either way, I wish him well in his future endeavors.

the ocean/riverside from triforce heroes is literally my favorite track out of all the games. nothing can beat the nostalgia i feel when i listen to this one compared to the others. so so happy to finally see it on a playlist, triforce has so many underrated tracks that im just in love with
  • @nuchivonbuk
A track that is extremely underappreciated imo is "Vah Naboris 1 terminal" It sets such a mysterious and relaxing mood.
  • It’s interesting because he’s right, these are all great themes, but since Zelda is a sea of amazing music, these pieces often get left out in a medley or your average Zelda & Chill playlist. And I’ve played many of these games but I was shocked at how many I didn’t know or DID know but couldn’t guess what game they were from. It actually challenged me to listen more closely to the instrumentation of the piece and guess what game it was based on the style of that game’s music (which was very fun). Thanks for making this playlist!
  • Oh gosh…love this so much! Agree with the other commenter than said underrated game OST songs should be a series!
  • @Iffondrel
I listen to a lot of loz music during work, but most lists get pretty repetitive after a while. Thanks for this list! I love the handheld titles, but a lot of their music gets slept on. Sword search and skull dungeon my beloved!
