Redesigning My Old Pokemon

The new region is not Canada based.

Truthfully I am in love with Brantaero’s redesign, you say its a simple bird but he oozes personality from his grizzled old man face to his aviator jacket wings. I’d put one on my team

I think a better name for Teroison's signature move would be Searing Sting, it has that classic Pokemon alliteration, and isn't as on the nose as "Burning Poison" (also it has the word "sea" in it so thats a fun touch)

I will always remember watching the old, "going on walks and drawing pokemon" videos and how happy they made me, and it's so cool to see that he hasn't forgotten these old designs

New Leaflutter is gorgeous, and Hydrat looks like a friend! I loved all of the designs in this video, and I hope we get a second entry to the series!

It's really inspiring to see how he improved as an artist and how he started off just drawing animals with pokemon concepts and now he's really starting to convey hia ideas in an pokemon style with it's design principle! Love to see more improvements in the future, the new redesigns look amazing

This is the video I didn't knew I needed up until now. I still remember watching the "Creating new Pokemon videos" for the first time and I often rewatch them afterwards. I was so hyped every time a new episode came out. The series also inspired me to actively create Fakemon myself. So thank you for that ^.^ While the original designs still have a special place in my heart I can't deny that the new designs are a huge improvement both concept, design and rendering wise! Really hope the series does well, I'd love to see more redesigns of your older mons.

I'm always a huge fan of these 'redoing old art' videos because its so encouraging to the subtle ways even highly talented artists improve with time!

Brantaero is just more accurate to a real Canadian Goose all while being more Pokemonified. I absolutely love it.

Hydrat has got to be my favorite from this episode. I bet if it gets an evolution, their line would be rivals to the floatzel line

It. Is. Here. Let's talk redesigns. Leaflutter-chan! This was one of my favorite mons from the older Creating New Pokemon episodes. Super glad you brought it back! And I'd love to see Leaflat get a redesign as well! Speaking of redesigns, I remember you say how annoyed you were with Hydrat in the fan redesigns series. So I was expecting that redesign to be a treat. And it was! This collection was a good indicator of how far you've come as an artist. Many of us have had this experience too! I would love to see more of this!

Brantaero has so much potential to be part of a story or possibly a short animation- Just imagine it cant go on flying, grumpy and sad and then randomly a trainer makes its life more fun- That'd be super interesting
