  • Just got mine, came here to see how to switch reticle and you taught me. Who knew it was so simple lmao. Thanks.

Thanks for the video! You're the only one I could find that confirmed it has the lower one third cowitness option. Thanks for the info!

Thank you for this review I don’t buy anything without youtubing it first and I couldn’t find a review that actually showed the reticle.
  • @Carriesaglock
Going with this for my new AR pistol build. Thanks for the review.

Great video Neal. I believe it is the best on the net ! Your reviews reflect the the quality of your work and also of your reputation as an individual. Very detailed and very high quality. Excellent ! By the way, the optics guys at SIG told me that the 5XDR will work with any Aimpoint T1 Compatible mount. To obtain an absolute co-witness, purchase the low version from the vendor of your choice.
  • Neal has the best customer service I've ever seen at a gun shop, hands down. His prices are more than reasonable and I will definitely continue buying from him.

Just want y’all to know how awesome Neal is, literally emailed him 10 mins ago, already got back to me and gave me the coupon code for the XDR, just purchased it. Neal is spot on! Heart of Texas Armory is my new spot for gear now!

Awesome video man I just ordered the xdr for my mini 14. Thank you for putting this out there! Too bad it doesn't have the window underneath the sight like the standard 5 mount so you can see your irons beneath the actual sight.

It's a nice looking Holosun that uses a AAA battery.  A quick note: do not over tighten the mounting bolt/screw.  It will snap off right at the end of threads.

While I own and use the Romeo5 XDR, I do find Holosun and Primary Arms making very strong high quality at affordable prices. In fact, I own and use one from each of those Brands. To all you "high end" makers of Red Dot Sights, I must say....WATCH OUT. We consumers will benefit from this battle. :-)

Absolute co-witness is lower than 1/3rd.. if you want the dot on the front site.. take out the riser.. if you want the dot hovering over your front site or site in the lower 1/3rd of your red dot... put on the riser.. fyi

Subscribed. Awesome content, appreciate the review! Wanting to buy this optic for sure for a new build of mine. Emailed ya if you are still giving out a good price for it by chance
  • @MegaMastiffman
I have astigmatism too and I agree the newer reticles are much better and if you stick a magnifyer behind this WOW super crisp and clear a match that is hard to beat love the AAA batterie it’s the reason I own this. Aimpoint? EOTech? Who’s that?
  • @gman9945
I really like the original Romeo 5.... now I have to buy this one
  • @GeEked008
What is the temperature range of this optic? I live in a cold environment.
  • @tacbear
I have been running Romeo 5X/XDR's on ALL my AR's for about a year. Circle Dot/Auto shut off-on/AAA Battery/ Capless adjustments/Badass looks, what's not to like (I bought my last one for $152.00)!!!!
  • @SuperBuckaloo
How does the 65 moa circle and dot look like with a a2 front sight post?
