This video is wild cause it really shows u that no matter how hard the previous avatar tried to make things perfect in their lifetime they always create plenty of messes for the next iteration to deal with

Feel like a kid at the candy store with all this avatar content from everyone

When Korra’s connection to the past avatars was destroyed, it was like losing Aang all over again 😭

He died at 166. He was just buffering for 100 years.

God I wish they animated all of this story before messing with Korra.

He was able to use all four. Sadly he didn't master them at 12....maybe 13 cuz toph says his earthbending could use work (outside of avatar state of course) and his fire bending needed a little more work I believe. But bro was still a menace at 12😭

The overall of ATLA’s world building lowkey is peak. And the power system lowkey is perfect too, not too op but not weak either. It may not be as great or the same for someone else but I genuinely feel like if I could go into some fictional world and have a power in it, I’d choose the ATLA verse.

Yea I believe Aang was a good father. But he also had a special purpose in life that was also filled with suffering so it's foolish to believe that his family wouldn't still have its problems. He was still only human after all and he had his own human desires. You could expect nothing more, even from the Avatar. And even with their struggles, his kids eventually still learned to mend alot of the brokenness their family had within their lifetime. That's a family that truly has love in it, and they realized it in the end. Don't compare Aang with Goku now lol.

Aang's Fight against Bumi predicted Aang's Fight against Ozai. Aang's natural instincts was to run away as an airbender, till he decided to fight back. That's when Ozai's Skill vs a 12 year old boy's newly acquired techniques was on display. But Bumi's words kicked in after Aang went avatar state. "Hopefully one day when you face ozai, you find a crazy way to defeat him!" And so he did. Encased him in stone like Bumi did Sokka and Katara and took his bending away. Wonder why his 1st son is named Bumi. Aang really only went on the offensive when he went Avatar State, which gave him the boosted experience he needed from his past lives with each element. He ducked dodged, and counterattacked ozai's onslaught for 20 minutes. It really was a fight between a karate kid and a grown man on flaming steroids.

"He was from a long dead nation that emphasized peace and tranquility." Yeah, until Avatar Yangchen showed up😂

Uncle iroh’s wisdom truly set Zuko on the right path

Mastered the 5th element too. Energy bending.

Is Aang the most important Avatar in history? It's likely between him, Korra and Wan. Aang ending the hundred year war and creating republic city are huge. He also brought back energy bending. That said, oth Wan and Korra prevented 10k years of darkness. Wan created the concept of the Avatar. Korra brought back the Air Benders (in large numbers), brought spirits back to the world, and has given the world the most powerful version of Raava we've ever seen. Korra also opened a new spirit portal. Those three are all VERY important.

I absolutely loved this video. I watched all the animated from ATLA to Kora but I never knew the lore between the two series. This gives a lot of insight and explains why the world viewed Kora the way they did. The diversity of the way they praised Aang and how they felt they didn't really need Kora is a huge dynamic I think isn't talked about enough. Like, the whole attitude towards the Avatar is night and day between the two. Idk. Just some food for thought.

no avatar is stronger than anang not even kora or anyone who agrees like the comment😇😇

We should get a series on Adult Aang and the comics should be animated instead of a live-action remake

I wish they would make another serious about and the adventures he went through after the war till his death. That would be sick af.
