When comedy was at it's greatest,no swearing. This programme is gold ...never gets old.
  • When this first aired in 1978, I had just arrived in London and was doing my O Levels AND trying to learn English at the same time. Needless to say, I fell in love with the show. That was the age of innocence for me.

When I watched this serial on TV in the early 1980s, I never thought that one day I will be watching the same in my phone.... thanks to the revolution in the technical growth of communication..
  • Its doesn't matter how many time you see this series it's always hilarious
  • I never get bored with this serial. Each person act their role wonderfully well.
  • I used to watch this on my parent's black and white television. Much love from Zimbabwe 🇿🇼. Pure gold

  • This sitcom is a classic. Most of the actors there have passed. May their souls rest in peace 🙏 🪦.

I am not sure how many times I must have watched this serial in the past 40 odd years, but every time, I laugh just as much as I did when I saw it the first time. Absolutely Timeless!

This series should be shown worldwide to all nations. Laughter is stronger than war...❤😃
  • Amazingly it still remains hilarious no matter how many times or how many years later we watch it 😂

Three things that I loved about this show : 1- None of the characters had any “doubts” about their gender . 2- Every single one of the characters was fully heterosexual . 3- They were proud of their religion . The teacher or principal never told the students “You’re forbidden from speaking about your religion”. Man, what a great show ! I didn’t discover it until recently (I’m not from the UK), but I must say this show was phenomenal!
