ALSO, 1) These trucks are meant for high speed off-roading, not towing. The springs are bouncy and light for that reason. It is going to squat if you tow heavy things or put a great deal of weight in the bed. That is the way it was designed. If you want to tow heavy, buy an F150 or put bags/Timbrens on your Raptor. 2) All leaf springs squeak after dirt and other debris gets in the leaf pack. This isn't a Raptor issue. Pressure wash them, and they will be fine until you get crap in there again. 3) If you mod it, expect Check Engine Lights, and Limp Mode at some point. Not every day. Not all the time, but it is probably going to happen. That is the price for playing around. 4) If you don't like the sound of the V6, you are welcome to not buy one. We don't want to hear your bitching. 5) A CAI (cold air intake) does not give you an appreciable HP increase. Ford knows what they are doing. You are more likely to get a CEL than any significant power change. 6) The factory tires will last as long as your lead foot will let them. Drive as you would like them to last. If they don't last, you are driving like you don't want them to last. 7) The SYNC system auto updates must be turned off for it to stop bugging you. 8) If you start the update via WiFi it will likely never finish. Take it to the dealer and let them flash it. You can also do the update via USB if you take the time to read the instructions. 9) There are drains for the sunroof. Clean them out from time to time to keep your interior dry. 10) The transmission shifts like a dump truck because it is a performance oriented vehicle that adapts to your driving style. If you take it to the dealer they can reset it so that it goes back to the soft defaults. Performance people like hard firm shifts. They actually pay extra for it.

Same here, just bought a 2020 Super cab. I actually wanted the super cab and I sought it out. 13,000 miles, Color is rapid red, so far it’s flawless! I love it! $58,000.
  • I have a 19 and you are spot on with everything. It’s a bad ass truck though and I love mine.
  • @302KingCobra
Yes you can retrofit the rgb lighting. Have to replace all the lights... doors- dash- floor board- under seats- cup holders. Then program the bcm. I did it in my 18 Lariat!

In extreme cold weather such as -30 Celsius the electric door locks tend to not work, there was a recall for this issue that I had to go for lasted all day, but all in all the raptor that I own has made me very happy. I have owned my raptor for 1 year and 4 months.

Yes my 2017 Raptor with 18k miles is at Chapman Ford Scottsdale dealer shop now getting the cam spacer pinging sound fixed, I have always heard it but went away once warmed up until recently, then my Ford service advisor said they always new it was an issue but only fix if customer complains about it, I was like WTF lady, seriously, she just smiled with no comment, I am not happy with Ford, I luv my Raptor, but Ford does not take care of its customers, so now i am searching for all known Raptor issues before my 3 year warranty expires in March 2020, thank you for great video :))
  • @atomicorang

  • @Planclanman3
I just bought a 2010 Raptor with only 90k miles for 20k. Put 3k miles on it in first 2 months and it runs better than the day I bought it. Looks almost brand new and Im gonna run it until the wheels fall off or until I’m rich enough to buy a brand new one 😂
  • Supply and demand buddy...I agree picking up a used one saves money...be sure it's not been beat all to pieces for sure!
  • @sammoore9689
I got my 2018 raptor just 1 k under msrp. I have one of the first metal oil pan. It was built in late april. They also changed the coolant color as they went to a different coolant in 2018.
