For this episode of Theorematic, we linked up with the Brooklyn MC Rome Streetz out in Brooklyn (of course). While not sounding like anyone else on the “scene,” Rome has carved out his own lane in this raw, gritty and aggressive rap form. In this installment, Rome talks about being original, the indy route and bringing more heat.

    At first, I didn't care for Rome that much because I thought he sounded too much like Ali Vegas. Now that I've given him a chance, I realized that's just his voice. Same shit with Bronson. Everyone thought he sounded GFK until people actually heard him talk. But Rome definitely doesn't sound like anyone out at the moment.
