i remember there being a planned third Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs movie which never came into development after a decade later, until Phil Lord revealed it to someone from a fan on Twitter that there was a script finished prior to the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike, titled "Planet of the Grapes" spoofing the Planet of the Apes franchise which is why CWACOM3 was never greenlit in the first place, i wish that a third film will come to fruition soon after Beyond the Spider Verse is finally released Lord and Miller have never completed a trilogy like this before

This film is what made me fall in love with the works of Phil Lord and Chris Miller as their works are most likely affectionate parodies of existing properties. They also push the boundaries of animation which I respect.

Honestly, I really liked the second one, maybe not as much as the first but I’ve seen a lot of people don’t like it. Idk just it has a lot of charm with the foods coming to life n stuff.

I like the creature design of Cloudy 2, the food animals are very fun to look at
