    I have seen Nureyev perform this in London in 1980, together with the ballet Petrushka. If you compare Nureyev with other dancers you can find on youtube, you will see that no one compares to him. His performance and 'body language' is so intense and beautiful.

    I couldn't take my eyes off him, watching this performance for the first time. The beauty and intensity of his movements . . . he was extraordinary.

    une musique venue d'un rêve et une chorégraphie tellement singulière qu'on dirait qu'elle vient d'être inventée. Les personnages semblent sortis d'une fresque antique. J'adore comment la nymphe effarouchée tourne les talons assez sèchement, puis tombe littéralement sous le charme du faune. Ensuite il fait un saut de cabri puis retourne à ses rêveries érotiques ! intoxiquant !

    Incredible, magnificent. I was fortunate to see Nureyev perform and he signed the evenings brochure. Which is framed.
