Loved how the band supported his solo music and all performed together rather than the usual story of “head gets to big and abruptly leaves group for solo career.” This is when live music sounded good. Good ol days

When are the Kennedy Center Honors happening for Michael McDonald? Doobie Bros. too, please. It's just time to recognize an incredible body of work over a lifetime. The same goes for the Doobie Brothers, and they are amazing musicians all. They are all still putting incredible music out. National treasures.

Michael McDonald is such a singular force of nature, he improved and elevates every project he's a part of, from Christopher Cross, to Steely Dan, to the Doobie Brothers. Timeless!!

If this song was a new release today 2024 it would still be a top hit even with this generation of kids. Absolutely no doubt About it .
