The Mahishadal Rathayatra is held annually at Mahishadal in Purba Medinipur District, West Bengal. The rathayatra was founded by Janaki Devi of Mahishadal Raj Estate in the year 1776.

Credit goes to the Govt. of West Bengal and Mahishadal Raj Estate for the renovation and re-launch of the chariot this year.
