As the river continues to rise and before it crests, Carver city crews are working to extend their levee across the Main Street bridge.

    Was on 41 south of downtown Chaska last weekend. The water was way up near the roadway already… before this weeks rain. I was back in that area on Thursday. Lots of hard work being done… I saw the crews setting up in Carver near the Getaway Cafe. Some of the creeks feeding the MN river looked like the Colorado river in the mountains. Lots of white water and the current was moving fast. Amazing.
