Let's not even talk about how they ruined the industry by digitally signing the parts to their devices, making it impossible to use third-party repair parts and other anti-repair practices. Now other companies are following suit.

Imagine if google only allowed 1080p quality for just pixel devices but caped other phones to 480p and apple saying that one should buy an iPhone to talk to their mom is just bad

I feel the EU are the leaders of mobile reforms when it comes to iPhones. We probably wouldn't have iPhones with USB-C w/o them!

Never thought I would see the day when apple would be made to dance to the sound of the music they have been writing for years.

When I visited US it's funny how people there are so big on iphone and how they look down on Android users, but eventually figured out that it's just how they were programmed, is ironic that they're so proud of their freedom not knowing how manipulated they are by the consumer market
  • Let me make a car, which takes only gas sold by my company and it runs on roads made by my company.

When my iPhone lightning port broke I had to rely on wireless chargers. Then one day iPhone released an update and suddenly 3rd party wireless chargers became way way slower.

But why buy apple products if you don't want to be locked up with their ecosystem? Just buy android right?
  • @deinmoore201
Took apple 30 years to become 90’s Microsoft 😂
  • @LYCQxpa
So we just realized this about 20 years after IPhone was invented?
  • @rockybear702
Maybe Google should make it difficult for apple user to watch YouTube. 😂 Or take it out all together

When I see someone unironically comment on the message colors (which is less common nowadays) I actually love it so much because it gives me an indicator as to who is worth spending my time on and who I'm better off not paying attention to. It's the ultimate maturity filter.

Green bubbles are a social stigma here in the US, particularly among teenagers. I must be getting old, because I'm genuinely baffled why this is a thing. I guess it just goes to show that people will stigmatize each other over the most ridiculous things.

I just wanted to say, Andrew you do a great job explaining these things!

Samsung does the same with their watches, they have more features with Samsung phones, and work better with Samsung phones than with other Android devices. The apple watch is made for ios, duh it only works with Apple phones, like the current Android watches don't work with iPhones. This is insane, instead of going after Apple, tell Google to stop trying to sell 2 to 3 year old chips on their flagship phones for 1000usd.

They can continue making good products while being fair with other companies.
  • @Maplecook
I've NEVER paid money for an Apple product, and never will.
  • @waaj23
Why can’t this be done in Canada, every single industry is monopolized
