these xountertops are inspired by the lone fox kitchen. I love the colors he uses and I kept those in mind while working on this countertop.
i used apple barrel paint
and folk art paints from hobby lobby
beyond paint in pebble .
I used polycrilic in the clear semi gloss

I also watch Drew, The Lone Fox. I remember when he did his marbling. This kitchen island now looks absolutely fabulous. I wasn’t a fan of the epoxy finish and remember thinking at the time you did that, oh dear that is going to stain. Just something on top of the island now, maybe a bowl of fruit or a riser with a candle and other bits to make a vignette. ❤

My dogs also were petrified of thunder storms...shaking & panting, etc. I started giving them hemp oil for dogs & this really helped calm them down. My girls are gone but seeing your girl so scared brought back memories. Thank you for sharing this video. The island looks great!

It is gorgeous! You would never know it wasn't real marble. Yes you need to do the rest of kitchen. Glad your daughter was into it too. Yrs ago, I did my walls white/ brown/ beige Walmart bag. I still love it.
