Everyone can vlog in Paris. But getting 1 million views out of exploring Ratus, that is an extraordinary performance.
-
This has to be the only guy in the world that says things like 'this is going to be epic' when approaching some random village in Moldova.
-
This is the last thing I would expect to find myself binge watching for 3 days straight. But here we are.
-
"In soviet times at this soviet bus stop, there woulda been soviet people doing soviet things.."
-
His genuine level of enthusiasm combined with his quality Russian really seems to help the locals feel less on edge. Heโs the perfect host to travel through the former USSR and explain it to us in the West.
-
That man smiled ear to ear when you told him Modovian people are kind and polite. It was a genuine smile.
-
I just google my name and found this video and channel. Maybe I'm going to travel to Ratus in future.
-
Imagine those two men going home late to their wives and explaining that they were late because they met an Englishman and gave him a ride in their cart. This is when the rolling pin comes out.
-
This might be one of the best YouTube channels of all time
-
I admire this guy's extraversion, how he just befriends everybody he meets
-
the singer you're listening to in the car is Pavel Stratan, one of the greatest Moldavian musicians.

-ะ ััะพ ั ะฒะฐั ัะดะตัั ะตััั, kitchen sink?
- ะะฐ, ะดะฐ... -
I wish I had this dude's social skills. But here I am, behind a laptop, locked up in my house, hoping no one will ring my doorbell today.
-
This guy maxed out his charisma at the character creation screen.
-
Hey man just discovered your channel, I love it, finally some travel vlog without drone shot and electro music, no BS just legit interraction with human beings, I love that, cheers!
-
1:34 One of the many sinks he would encounter on his voyages
-
That guy in the Lada's voice is legendary.
-
Bald you're truly ahead of your time with your style of travel vid.
-
Love the interactions with the Lada gentlemen and the guys in the wagon as well. They remind me so much of my Italian relatives. So warm and friendly, wanting to show you everything. Even down to their mannerisms while speaking. It does make sense, as Romanians and Moldavians are sort of like the bridge between the Latin world and the Slavic world. Very cool to see!
