A perfect example of what Star Wars could be if made by people that love it.

I’m here to see Revan put Malak in his place in a jaw-dropping duel. (Love y’all for the 3K likes lmao)
  • 3:56 I love the small movements of what’s left of Malak’s mouth. You probably could have gotten away with just the throat light flashing as he spoke, but the fact that he still is using the same nerves and muscles to speak makes the wound feel much more realistic and visceral.
  • @JacobKilner
It was a privilege voicing Saul Kareth for this project. Can't wait for the full series!

I love how after losing his jaw Malak’s eyes turn bright yellow. Kinda like Anakin when he lost his limbs. Like the pain is pulling him closer to the dark side, a lesson every Sith master must teach to his apprentice. Nice attention to detail!
  • I love the subtlety in the choreography. Revan is obviously holding back, purposely refusing to kill his former friend and confidant outright, but he needs to maintain control over a lapdog that has gone rabid. And Malak knows that his master knows him too well, and that fully giving into his hatred and jealousy would be a death sentence, so he is treading a fine line between fighting like a true Sith and a madman. Malak knew that he he was beaten, he probably knew it as soon as their sabers clashed, but he committed to it, realizing that giving into his fear and surrendering would only guarantee him a slow death, so he accepts his failure with dignity, Revan taking the opportunity to scar Malak in a way that he will have to wear his shame forever.

Revans fighting style is so elegant and precise. I wish he could get a movie!

I love everything about this, but the great thing that really stands out the most is the voice acting. Voice acting can make or break an animation, and the effort and care that was put into these voices really pushes this from just another animated short to a high-quality production and fills me with confidence for when the full kotor series gets released.

The subtle movements of Malak's remaining mouth as he talks, the gleam of the Sith Trooper's armors, the detail in Revan's armor... just everything looks amazing! A remastered KOTOR in Unreal engine would be, hands down, the best Star Wars thing to ever exist. Thanks for giving us a taste of what could be.
  • @MR.ICE.
I love the way Revan shakes his head at Malak at 3:41. Like “You fool. All you had to do was stop.”
  • Better than 80% of what Disney is pumping out these days! Can't wait to see more!
  • @ekrem5705
Well, the fight between Revan and Malak was " Jaw Dropping ".
  • @AbMaSync
You know, the sith code is really tragic. It talks about freedom from chains when they're trapped in this cycle of betrayals. The only thing Malak was freed from was his lower jaw.
  • @heiveldboy
Poor Malak. A decent sith, but forever stuck in the shadow of Revan.
  • @WorldByTheTale
Anakin: "Can this movie be created?" Palpatine: "Not by Disney."
  • This is a great Christmas present for all of Star Wars fans! I hope that fanfilms will explore legends like the hyperspace war or something to that effect. Merry Christmas, may the force be with you!
  • @FearAngryTrees
What I liked the most about this animation was how you portrayed Revan. How fast and decisive he reacted when Malak wanted to attack him and also the moment at the end, where he gave Malak a chance to stop before striking him.
  • @sethtobler4427
Revan is literally one of the coolest characters in all of Star Wars hes such a deep character
