Make a Techquickie: “Why is TrueMotion horrible and how to turn it off. “ Also make one on TV menu settings and recommended config. There’s so much stuff there I have no clue what it does.

11:26 Imagine going to the store saying: Hey do you have that new Samsung UN50RU7100FXZA?
  • @gibsontyjuan
This was actually a pretty satisfying video as a techie who’s on the market for a tv right now. Thanks guys!

I love how James talked to Yvonne just to find a punishment for Linus.
  • @SnorGTraPz
thank you for saying "bigger is not always better" you gave me motivation
  • I have had a 49” LG tv for a couple years now. Gaming always felt off. I had NO idea that the gaming mode had so much lower latency than other modes. I always used other modes because I felt like the “Game” mode had the colors way over saturated. Didn’t realize I was sacrificing so much lag. This seriously helped me adjust my tv better to how I should have it! Thank you guys.

I'm just happy that I'm not a tech geek can you imagine watching a movie while spotting out flaws on video quality that just annoyed yourself

“We are going to do it all in the next 8-9 minutes...” 21 minutes later....

The whole crew: "Damn, I wanted to see Linus suffer."
  • @Shadow-ig3hf
James: "There's almond milk in the fridge, kinda tastes like spit"......cause James tried it and spit it back.
  • I got the 4K 65" TCL for $400 in 2018. Still doing great, they've done amazing with their budget TVs.
  • @irishn8
"daddy our TV is above the fireplace, we have no taste?" No son we don't have room anywhere else.
  • I love budget round ups. Things like digging into the settings and seeing how intuitive the TV is to use are hard to shop for when just comparing web pages with specs. I'm not sure how well these types of videos perform, but I love seeing y'all dive into the budget products as those are the ones I'll be buying for the next several, several years of my life.

Can we have a monitor/tv settings video, explaining everything and "showing" what it does?
  • @camaleon193
Linus surprises me more every day on how knowleadgeable he is on a diverse variety of IT subjects.
  • I use this LG model as a monitor for my PC and TV for my console and Linus explaining to me how to turn on Instant Game Response made my typing and mouse basically improved my entire life. Side note: Turning the Instant Game Response on instantly switched my display scale to 150%. I would recommend putting it back down to 100% because I think it messes with some programs or makes things look weird. (Also, you can fit way less on your taskbar when you up the scale.)
