I'm here to confirm that the 40th anniversary 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD restore the original Paramount logos, also get rid of the revisions to the songs like the added background vocals and replaced sound effects. Making this the first release in 20 years Grease has been see/heard in its original form.

The new 40th Anniversary release coming out soon will fortunately restore these logos! I can confirm because the new print is on iTunes and I was just watching it! ;)

All I like about the movie Grease 1978 and 2016 is the makeover Sandy at the end when she has sang Your The One That I Want and We Go Together and me and everybody else that has watched Grease wishes she was dressed like that through whole movie from the beginning to the end and also it’s because Sandy is on the cover photo as makeover Sandy on both of the Grease movie covers.

They should have used the original, not the one from the 90s
