  • She survived a slit throat for 14 entire hours as a little girl, and then proved doctors wrong not just once by talking when she was said to never speak again, but by having children as well. What a strong woman, I wish her all the best in life
  • Buying the wrong brand of milk is a mistake. Kidnapping a little girl, choking her, slitting her throat SA her and leaving her broken little body for dead unclothed in a field is not a mistake that’s a conscious decision and the fact that man attempted it again years later shows he had no remorse and if he hadn’t been arrested, he would have probably have kept doing it. I don’t believe the fake crocodile tears either, he left that child for dead .When faced with the consequences that’s when he decides to take the easy way out.

“I’m not a victim. I’m victorious” — Jennifer Schuett We need to keep these words living for the longest time for survivors
  • “When you’re a kid you think there are monsters in the closet, but when you become an adult you realise the monsters are outside your window” That one was deep.

The fact that he killed himself in jail just proves how much of a coward he was and Jennifer is so incredibly strong for everything she’s done.
  • @jeishiikanzaki
The suicide is just his last act of control. "You cant punish me if I'm dead!" What a monster.

I can’t imagine how her mom must’ve felt knowing that she’s the one who asked her baby to sleep in her own room, having no idea that her baby would be taken from her because of that. It’s heartbreaking.

"I am not a victim. I am victorious." That is such a powerful statement. I pray for her and her family's health and joy.

The fact he started crying and asking "shes alive?" As if shes his daughter who he hasn't seen in 20 years instead of a woman he kidnapped, tried to murder, and SA when she was a child really just is disgusting
  • @Greeblen
im infuriated that it took 20 years for them to catch him. They had a first name, an EXTREMELY accurate sketch and a description of very unique scars and tattoos of someone who lived down the street of the victim and was IN THE SAME HOSPITAL as her while recounting all of this. And it took 20 years

My heart hurts and my eyes fill with tears anytime I hear a case about a little girl or boy being S/A. My heart aches in pain. I have a new born girl now and the feelings are even more intense.

I was assaulted at the same age and I finally gained the courage to tell my parents last year. To anyone keeping in their secret... just telling someone tipped my mindset from victim to victorious. Love that quote.
  • I feel like the ants saved her , I can only imagine the pain it caused but the stimuli and the way your body responds to the venom they produce could increase adrenaline and swelling/white blood cells to different parts of her body. I'm glad she lived and he was caught. I feel terrible she had to go through something so gruesome at such a young age. but I'm so proud that she was resilient and survived.

I felt disgusted when the guy began to cry and said he prayed for her. He had the audacity to say his life was fxcked up, if his life was fxcked up then just imagine how Jennifer’s life was. And what did he say “mistake”? Excuse me that’s no mistake that was a decision, a very disgusting and horrifying decision. Sometimes I wish karma would hit people like him with double the amount of pain they put their victims through.

The fact that a story like this has a happy ending is insane, the fact she lived for 14 hours is insane. And she fully recovered from everything is insane. The ending with the fire ant feels straight out of a movie
  • @M3NHERA
i started crying when i heard how strong she was towards the end, im so proud of her. She did what people told her was impossible.
  • @BabyMango
Fire ant bites can stimulate the nerves and shock your heart into beating. Especially when her heart was slowly fading.. they have saved others in the same way in freak accidents. She owes her life to those ants.
  • @Cyupid0li
I can't with how detailed her memory was. She knew she couldn't do anything to fight this man so she made sure to collect as many information as she could. Her mom really taught her well
  • @the_realdeal69
She is alive, She is able to speak, She is a mother, She is strong, And most importantly that monster is burning in hell
  • @samx36
The fire ants really did keep her spirit alive. No one should have to learn that "live to take revenge" is sometimes the only way to make it through hell. She lived, she helped hunt down that monster for revenge, and now living her life while that monster is in the ground.
