Look here brother...I was doing fine, minding my business and watching your video and then you went and made me get emotional and drop a few tears. I lost my dad like 2 months after yours, same year and it rocked me. (I mentioned it before) Out of a few things helped me cope...one of them was your videos. I went back from the beginning and binged your entire YouTube (for a second time). It kept me grounded. Don't stop making videos dude, you have no idea the impact you have on people.

Thank you Jay this was beautiful! But as a mother and a grandmother... Please be careful when exploring alone! Always tell Cris where you're going exactly, okay? Your father is with all of you always and I'm positive he's proud of you. Take care.

As Florida native, I appreciate this. You take me places I would never go. I am at least 4th generation Floridian too. Iā€™m not a good native girl! I hibernate in St. Petersburg.
  • Tampa Jay you are never alone. You have God and your dad watching over you And you have Cris, your family and friends always. We all go through life being prepared for harder things to come.. I lost my son from cancer 9 days before his 51st birthday.(which was 6 years ago yesterday). We love you Tampa Jay. Thanks for all you do. I would go with you. Cave exploring would be so much fun. Stay safe
  • Hey Jay be careful caving alone. We need you for many more haunts. Take a friend and some rope next time. (Army Green Beret Vet) Thanks for sharing your life and loss. We lost a couple parents and it's difficult. There is away a way up and a path of hope. We love you and Cris channels!! Take care.

Wow jay. You are absolutely right everything happens for a reason and itā€™s hard but we keep going brother. I lost my dad in 2013 and itā€™s still hard 10 years later.Your dad is in a better place free from pain and hardship. We do have the promise to see them again. Jay there is much ahead for you!!! Keep your head up and in the immortal words of billy Madison you get off your a$& and find the f@&$?ng dog!!!! Thank you for your honesty and just being a genuine person. If youā€™re ever back up here in the panhandle hit me up there are a lot of trails etc up here. Also I live 3 miles from creature from black lagoon filming location.

When you talked about your dad I felt that. I lost my dad 22 years ago when I was just a kid. I've missed him everyday since. Great video, I'm too claustrophobic for that.
  • @magiccheeseball
Jay scared me I thought you were going to climb down that first hole! I was so relieved when you found the other one that was a beautiful cave definitely worth the hike! I'm sad about your father you're a good son I know he's proud of you!

I lost my own father to a disease (ALS) when he was 61. That will be 30 years ago next month. I know what it feels like to lose a father too soon. I grew up in FL (St. Petersburg). I can imagine the heat as Iā€™m watching this video!

I am really glad I watched this video. Those words you spoke Jay made me tear up. Your exactly right. The only way you can climb is up. I lost my mom 10 yrs ago. It was unexpected. I was devastated. But I realized the only way to fight the sadness I felt. Was to climb up from the bottom. Thank you so much for those encouraging words. šŸ˜ŠšŸ˜Š

Being out in nature is very calming to the mind. Nice place for sure.

Amazing content..I sent your link to my cousin in Alabama he has been exploring caves all his life..his longest trip was 7 miles down and 3 days in and another 3 coming out..he was with a group of elite explorers and even had a paramedic along..I am not one to go underground but know from his vast experience to use extreme caution and always have a buddy along. You are quite the adventurous one but truly appreciate you sharing the real Florida that very few see. Stay safe my friend thanks again for all you do. Amazing testimony and tribute to your dad I know he watches over you and you make him proud šŸ˜‡šŸ˜ŽšŸ‡ŗšŸ‡øšŸ‘
