That made me wonder - how far can you go in lets go pikachu and eevee with only the first two required badges? What areas can you unlock? Can you catch legendaries? All of that and more will be answered in this Pokemon Lets Go challenge video.

3:17 This was intentional. If your partner is fainted, he won't appear on the screen. The dialog even says "Pikachu/Eevee is too tired to play." Nintendo did this on purpose.

No way! I actually tried this and I thought my game would break so I just started again, I can't believe someone else did it. I tried it in fire red but I forgot what happens. It feels much more real like this though since if Pokémon were real you could choose which gym to find first, like in the anime.

I accidentally skipped the grass gym and realized it when I was trying to fight the eighth gym leader... so I just one shot everything. 😂

The freedom's actually a holdover from Red and Blue- in Johto they started clamping down on your freedom with things like the weird tree, but in Kanto you can skip around a fair deal, which is actually why they have the checks for gym badges before Victory Road.

When I was younger I used like 50 dusk balls on Giratina and didn't feel like using the master ball so I threw a poke ball as a joke and it actually worked
