“How do two brothers get into the nail care business?” This is the single most common question people ask us. There’s a long and rocky version but we’ll give you the short one. We have our fearless and unconventional mother, Young Salo, to thank. With a single-minded entrepreneurial spirit, she decided to start her own business at the age of 49. She had a passion for the nail industry and we did everything in our power to support her. In the end, this is a family business.

Greg, the older brother, became a licensed nail technician after switching gears from fire fighter’s training. He is energy personified and has a true passion for developing the best professional nail care products and education. Habib is the younger brother. He jumped in a few years later; taking a detour from medical school and a life in music. He brings his own creative mind for business, marketing and strategy. Unexpectedly, we are a perfect team.

Today, more than 20 years later, Young Nails Inc., is a professional nail care manufacturing company exporting to over 40 countries worldwide and distributing domestically to over 3000 stores. We’re respected for our next-level product innovation and education. Our mission is to bring you the best quality products and we’ll show you how to use them with incredible results. It’s really that simple.

  • That "over-grip" tip has been a game changer for me. Plus I can really pinch back the skin around the sidewalls. 💯👍🏼😁
  • @miRey1
I needed this so bad, my gel polish would always run in sidewalls. Thank you!!
  • @danaedgell5824
I need to start doing that over grip. Sometimes I feel like the client is trying to thumb wrestle!!😂😂😂

It does not surprise me that you’re busy at all your work is phenomenal 🙂
  • @Shauna_02
I’m so excited to try to do my nails myself. I hope I can remember all I’ve learned today , I’ll process it in my sleep but your videos are amazing .

Greg this is the second time I watch your amazing tutorial, and it is just amazing that in 30 minutes you removed and re-applied that gel mani.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻I am blown away and delighted to watch you getting the job done. Thanks for such awesome demonstration, I love your work! Thx so much!💕

Great video. The colors are so beautiful. Thank you for sharing the right way to take gel polish off and new gel polish on. Thank you again. Please stay safe and healthy.
  • Extremely good demonstration for gel polish technique. Great tip about filing insofar as not damaging and breaking the seal when filling at the end of the manicure as there are many misconceptions about this as I was led to believe it broke the seal so now we know it won't do damage. Thanks.💅
  • So true, soaking sucks! Loving the feather technique 😃💅🏻 Can’t wait to try this on my next gel polish client!
  • Since I’ve started using the efile following Greg’s directions life has been sooooo much better!!
  • I absolutely love the dust collector! I really need to get some of these safety bits.

You're just the absolute best. I'm in nail school now. Watched a ton of your videos 6 months prior to school. Was totally new to the whole technology of nails and service. I've got to say, your vids are more correct and higher quality than any other tech I've seen. Your tips are awesome. And your care is incredible. School teaches that bonds and acetone aren't "toxic". Completely untrue. Your training on using efile to remove gel polish as well as acrylic sculptures is so so so much healthier for clients nails, and lu n gs and whole body. SOAK ( acetone) sucks. I trust you and I absolutely live you.❤ by the way, your acid free protein bond is healthy and effective. Thank you. Also, the school has a contract with a different line of products for students...YET, the instructors all agree that YN products are the best and they personally use YN. Lol. Lol. Students all agree that YN is the best, too. So they promote your products even though the school as an institution promotes and sells a different line. I buy your products, too. THANK YOU. LOVE TO YOU ALL.

Thank you, so easy to follow. Beautiful colors.
  • @misslk84
Amazing video as always, your teaching is very much appreciated and any time I need to refresh on O always look up your videos. I was not taught half this stuff in nail class. These videos are such a valuable catalogue of information to help make me a better nail technician. 👌😁
  • @Pecosita929

  • @devon7584
I have never seen a nail tech do the one stripe first and then go back and apply, and we were not taught that in nail school. Will have to try it to see if it works well.
  • I just found your channel. Thank you for your videos. I'm just learning how to my own gel manicures, a self care treat. Your videos and your products are very helpful.
  • @kathyb4448
