Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (stylized in marketing as Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3) is a 2023 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team Guardians of the Galaxy, produced by Marvel Studios, and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017), and the 32nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It’s something about Groot being by Rocket’s side since day 1 to the finale really shows how good of a friend Groot really is

The reactions to the song being played are so great. Kraglin laughing knowing what it means, Adam and Phyla (basically the children) moving to the beat, it's great

This clip was so heart warming, Rocket has found new purpose as a leader, Adam has become more than just a weapon, Craglin is finally confident in his abilities, Cosmo knows shes a good girl, Phyla has found a family and Groot is just straight chillin'. Yeah the former team is retired but the guardians remain a lovable group of misfits and I am here for it <3

The Guardians of the Galaxy are not only the greatest heroes and protectors of the MCU, they are also the happiest.

My wife was a huge fan of Guardians. She enjoyed all the Marvel movies, especially Thor, but the Guardians movies were her favorite. Sadly she was too ill when it premiered and passed before I could get it for home. I watched it over several nights afterwards, but only once. I can't watch any of them anymore. I will miss Chris Pratt as Starlord, and I will miss what could have been.

He no longer is concerned with material wealth or serving his own selfish ends. He’s grown to a truly altruistic and empathetic individual who cares and fights to protect people.

I finished watching the movie today and I couldn’t help but burst into tears at 1:13 when Cosmo said, “On your word, Captain”

This new Guardians team is super strong, damn.

The main thing I took away from this scene is what an adult Groot looks like, their size. This means the original Groot in GA1 was basically Oldman Groot. The grandfather of the team. It hits harder when you consider the team was saved by their grandfather. The old man sacrificed his life down for them as he knew he had lived a lot more of his life.

Kind of a shame we won't get to see this new iteration of the team in action, or at least without Gunn's direction. Ultimately it's probably for the best as all good things must come to an end and I understand if they want to put the Guardians to rest.

Having the same song play as the 1st and last song of the trilogy was a great touch.
