Mortarion - 40k's Greatest Hypocrite? - Voice Acted 40k Lore - Entire Character History

It seems very thematic as I got ill twice in the making of this video! It seems the Grandfather truly does send his blessings. Tried to make this one quite long to cover as much of Mortarion character development. Hope you all enjoy!

Of all the primarchs, Mortarian was the one I WANTED to root for, and the one that could have changed for the better, but didn't.

Mortarion had the potential to be a champion of the people similar to Corvus Corax. It’s a shame he couldn’t get over his bitterness and hate

So glad this one has been released! Mortarian is one of the most realistic characters in the 40k universe! Hypocrisy is a human trait! Self pity, jealousy, envy, anger, obsession, false love, oh Mortarian is full of all of it

When he was in Gallaspar and you said "He would destroy this blight". By the Ancestors, that was some delicious foreshadowing.

"Mortarian gazed into the abyss of thr warp, and he blinked." Never has an ending line encapsulated a primarch as much as that one.

Through Mortarion's story, the Khan and Garro just look even more awesome

7 years ago I started looking into the Warhammer universe 5 years ago I heard of Luetin09 for the first time and was in awe. Since then I've paid for over 20 Warhammer audible books. Then less than 2 months ago, I found your videos and it was... Somehow nostalgic. I heard the lore for the first time once again, and for that I thank you. Ohhh and also, it would be AMAZING if you made a Gregor Eisenhorn video, but I guess you've been asked to do that a countless times. The Amber King, I thank you. Keep up the good work.

I love your primarch and character videos as this. As for Mortarion, let's not forget that it was his trusted captain who betrayed him, his sons and sold them off to Nurgle.

Looking at it now; Mortarion's past is a hodgepodge of the other Traitor Primarchs pasts. Mortarion suffered horrific planetary conditions. Like Fulgrim. Mortarion endured harsh abuse under his adoptive father. Like Lorgar. Mortarion rebelled against his oppressors' and led a revolt with a ragtag group of humans. Like Angron. Mortarion utilized Geneva Convention Breaking tactics against his enemies. Like Curze. Mortarion is a bitter and spiteful badass. Like Perurabo. The Emperor's greatest mistake with Mortarion's was failing to portray himself as anything different to Necare. A manipulative tyrant. Just another douchebag overpowered psyker claiming to be his father. Same garbage, different colour.
