After they were transported to Leo's DELTA Rescue sanctuary, Ranger and the remaining 7 abandoned desert dogs go to their on-site hospital for "intakes." They get examined by the vet, they get vaccinations and ID chips, and blood tests. Tick fever is common among these rescues, as are venereal tumors. All will be tested and treated for the first time here.
