Locke & Key - Bode Closes the Trap (then gets owned)

After getting butthurt by the Echo's refusal to spoon feed him about dimensionality, Bode set up a bear trap, hoping to injure her and break the bones in her legs (currently unaware of her superhuman agility) so he could blackmail her into returning the Anywhere Key. Meanwhile, Echo had a great morning and in mid-afternoon she returned from an amusement park to the manor with a conciliatory gift for Bode, assuming he knew her bending the truth was a desperate attempt to free herself, only to realize he had laid out a a fake key, symbolically snapping her peace offering in half. For an unclear reason, Bode falsely accused her of making an attempt on the life of his mother, Nina Locke. Feeling hurt as she assumed they were still friends, Echo owned the little sociopath like the boss she always has been and always will be. It'll be quite a while before he forgets how karma is or how it works.
