51 MIND-BLOWING Ways To Use the Sages: Tulin, Yunobo, Riju, Sidon, and Mineru in Tears of the Kingdom. Get all 5 sages from completing the dungeons/ temples and you can use them in unexpected ways for example Tulin can fly and use Gust to aid in battles, Yunobo can break rocks and best way to launch him is by vehicles, Sidon uses water to help attack enemies, and Mineru can fuse monster drops, jewels, and other things to help fight enemies.

  • Whoever had the idea to put a giant, endlessly customizable battle mech in a Zelda game is a crazy genius. And I love them.
  • If you use the bubble shield, the molduga will throw you in the air and you get bullet time to unleash lots of bomb arrows
  • I love how trigger happy Tulin is! I’ll be on an adventure hear pop pop ding out the blue. He plays no games and he’s cold with the headshot🎯🎯
  • @mike1024.
I thought Sidon was pretty much the least useful of the bunch. I'm glad to see his power can do more than defeat sludge.
  • @Random-ei2uo
now imagine how nice it would be to press down on the D pad to trigger a sage ability while aiming/ parrying instead of having to run after them
  • If you use Sidon's ability with a topaz rod, you also get the nice AOE electric effect as the water wave and electric sparks hit at the same time.

Something I didn't really notice when playing with Mineru is that she can shield parry too. No dodges but a shield parry to compensate for her massive form.
  • @Rcd5000
Also, tip: the Zonai helms power up the sages attack by quite a bit.

I've almost beaten the game and had no idea Sidon could break rocks 🤦🏼‍♀️ thanks for this awesome video! Mineru is funny ... when you have a zonaite part in your hand, ie a fan or a rocket, etc.she will run away from you.

You dont necessarily need explosions to attract Molduga, any sort of vibration that hits the sand will do, even a simple arrow can alert it if its somewhat nearby
  • @fodonogue3
I used Tulin to take out the King Gleeok. Hid under some of the ruins and he went at it. Took a loooong time, though.

I thought Mineru is also really good at collecting any ore deposits - while not having anything attached to the arms. Due to the much larger collection reach, she's really good for collecting anything, so long as there is enough space.
  • Tulin is an absolute SNIPER. I got him first and he'd no-scope Lynels if they stayed still long enough. And watching Yunobo bonk the little rock monsters is hilarious to watch!
  • The ruby does keep you warm for cold areas as shown on 19:13, so it’s not totally useless.
  • I kind of wish the sages powers could combo off each other. Imagine Sidon soaking a monster and Riju setting off an electric blast, or Yunobo igniting a monster and Tulin fanning the flames so they burn for more damage.
  • Just be careful if you have Mineru with the frost emitter and you're mounting lynels, she can freeze you and interrupt your mount instantly, learned that the hard way.

Finally- people actually said Sidon's ability is useless and I kept wondering if we were playing the same game

5:50 My guess for that bevaviour is that they won't block the view, especially since they carry their Sage's respective weapon that would make the filling of the compendium unnecessarily harder. 18:00 Just to add, you can also walk greatly on Mineru through Quicksand. Also, in general, when riding Mineru, you can pick up mob drops and other items. Sometimes, when spamming A, you will accidentally activate one of your sages, which might, especially in Tulin's case, harm your pickup process. With Mineru, you can spam A as much as you like.

I think its weird that Yunobo lost his shield ability from botw and Sidon gained it

0:44 Tulin is the best sage in the game and he's my favorite sage. He's helpful in multiple ways both in battle and out of battle.
