I love that Krauser finally refers to Leon by name instead of "rookie" when he kills him, a clear sign of respect.

“so that’s your true power? oh, I’d ask for a refund.” there has never been a line in Resident Evil that properly captures my feelings about the bosses until this one right here. I had to pause because I was laughing so hard, I’d literally say the same shit if I was Leon!

2:03:30 Seeing max line up the double headshot and with the rifle and then dropping the line: "I just got out of the shooting gallery don't F*** with me." Was definitely my favorite part of this whole playthough so far and that's saying a lot

The dialogue of Ashley cheering Leon on during the mini game could easily have been kinda awkward and dumb, but her VO performance is so believable that is is actually so endearing to me. They literally made me care so much more about Ashley in this remake, props to the voice director and voice actors for really bring a ton more to the character.

it's neat that when Ashley is forced to shoot Leon and the gun jams, you can actually see that it 'stovepiped'; the casing failed to eject. you can also see it with the slide slightly locked back when Leon picks it up again. this can happen if someone is inexperienced/doesn't have a good grip on the pistol. a small detail, but not something I've really seen in a game.

There should be a toggle setting where Leon wears all the jewelry he has.

Max reassuringly saying "they can't use keycards", followed by him immediately turning around and being confronted by TWO regeneradors is just peak timing. Perfect horror game streaming moment lol

Having the Regenerators become Iron Maidens as a last stand is both creative and even MORE nightmare fuel than they already were. Well played, devs. Edit: FTW you can tell in the replies who has never heard the plural word for "Regenerador" while trying to correct you as if Spanish wasn't your first language, which is why it's just easier to say Regenerators and call it a day.

This is the best game all over again. Perfect love letter to OG RE4.

I ike the progression they did with Ashley. At the start she's clearly terrified and reluctant when answering to Leon. Mid game she's still a bit awkward but trusts him. In the island she immediately does what Leon says and tries to help whenever she can.

The final encounter with Krauser is something straight out of an 80’s action movie. The music, the atmosphere, the location. I absolutely loved it. Such a tense boss fight.
