StickMasterLuke's Natural Disaster Survival is a Roblox game whose origins are quite mysterious and obscure. It's been one of the most popular and iconic games on Roblox ever since its opening in 2011, despite the fact that it's incredibly simplistic and hardly ever receives updates. How? Join me as I take a trip through Roblox history and uncover the incredibly strange history of Natural Disaster Survival.

this and work at a pizza place are the two games which probably deserved to be in the classic event the most... and yet neither of them were

The fact you were able to interview luke himself was insane

    >nds is popular >no updates after a while >update >repeat

Our boy Luke was on the grind ever since he joined. He really made arguably the most timeless game on Roblox up there with Work at a Pizza Place

I miss the yellow man standing in the open while disaster happens

i think something thats also cool to note is that stickmasterluke added in some basic VR avatars, which espands the market for this game even more. as a 2009 player, i love seeing this game always somewhere on the front page, it's always a breath of fresh air

Luke is truly the master of sticks

I actually remember the Natural Disaster Survival app and I played that more than the actual Roblox App lol. I'm glad that there's actual proof and confirmation that it was an official thing that actually existed because for the longest time I thought I was crazy and just made it up.
  • N.D.S really is an oddity, it keeps staying popular with minimal updates
  • “…but Natural Disaster Survival is just seemingly built different.” a wise quote this is.
  • You know you’ve cooked up a masterpiece when a simple game with a relatively straightforward gameplay loop has a fan game community

Honesty, nds is a breath of fresh air compared to other experiences on the platform. Many experiences are shoving bright colors and big shiny buttons in your face. Nds is just a chance to sit down, relax, and really have some fun.

I like how Godzilla vs King Ghidorah is happening in the background here 15:32
  • there was people from like 2019 to 2023 that just sat at the edge of the map. they were tall people it was a strange era in this game lmao

NDS was the first game I ever played on Roblox. I started playing as a guest before making my first account, littleyokai8. I haven't played the game for quite a while.
  • @Redraker
NDS lore goes crazy (great video btw)

I'm 20, I stopped playing Roblox frequently a while ago, but I still click on every single one of these videos because I love learning about this kind of thing and I really like your commentary.
  • this is the 23rd time this month where a youtuber i regularly watch uploaded the exact second that i started thinking about them
