Oppenheimer closes his eyes This scene alone made me terrified. The music, the visions, the Oppenheimer's face. It send chills down my spine and gave me goosebumps

This alone was enough to win the Oscar.

You know the saddest part? In the beginning of the movie, Oppenheimer could hear the music of the stars, see the infinite possibilities of the nuclear world. In the end, all he could see is the cleansing fire that he created enveloping the world and hear the screams of those his work had killed, and will kill.

I wasn't expecting this movie to leave me with such an emotional reaction and yet it did. That final scene / shot was haunting.

This perfectly captures the sadness of wars going on around the world today, we never learn.

Oscars Winner 🏆

The piece that plays after Oppenheimer says "I believe we did", overlayed with shots of his imaginations of what the future holds, is absolute cinematic brilliance.

One of the best endings to a movie

the airplane scene where oppy's imagination of him sitting in the airplane seeing missles being shot above him... goosebumps.

Hands down the best soundtrack of the movie.. gives me chills every damn time.. 2:13 onwards is spectacularly brilliant !!

That ending gave me the coldest chills ever. Nolan and Ludwig have created a masterpiece.

Begins with a shot of raindrops in a puddle representing nuclear armageddon followed by a young Oppenheimer staring with curiosity and wonder. Ends with a shot of atomic armageddon followed by an older Oppenheimer closing his eyes with dread.

"I believe we did" The most haunting line in the film. With Goransson's score and Cillian Murphy's face, this is a magnificent and masterful ending

The scene with those massive rockets standing still... just waiting to be shot... This wasn't a horror movie, but this ending sent chills through my spine
