Burchett has a history of making disparaging comments on social media. He also recently said the Secret Service director was a "DEI hire."

Burchett doesn’t come close to Kamala in education, experience or political success. He does however, faithfully represent those dwindling back holler bigots that need that hateful discourse to feel remotely relevant.

Misogyny is a form of sexism that involves hatred, contempt, or prejudice against women or girls. It can also refer to social systems or environments that are hostile to women because they are women in a world created by and for men. The word comes from the Greek roots misein ("to hate") and gynē ("woman"). Misogyny has been practiced for thousands of years and is reflected in art, literature, human societal structure, historical events, mythology, philosophy, and religion worldwide. Feminist thought suggests that misogyny is both a result of gender roles and a means of enforcing them. For example, in historically patriarchal societies, women have been encouraged to occupy roles that support men.
