History isn't boring. It's just how you bring it and find what resonates with people. Something that apparently still seems very impossible at schools.
  • “History isn’t a boring subject. It is a story. An epic drama with more twists and turns than anything fiction can produce.” Couldn’t have said it better myself

Don't fret about your uploading schedule. We'd rather have Quality over Quantity.

Many years ago I learned that History isn't boring, but History Teachers ARE (often)... And you are NOT! Congrats on the milestone and may you prosper in the coming year(s)!

I bought Waterloo because of your video. Love the channel, I love the idea. Historical movies fill my top movies of all time and historical accuracy is important to me. Your videos are a real treat and I look forward to every one. Thank you.

Thanks for reminding me of the Golden Age, when History Channel was about history and Animal Planet was about animals.

I'm 22 and started working as a screenwriter. Your channel made me appreciate History even more! In the end, movies and TV shows are stories full of emotions and excitement. Why can't it be full of reflection as well? History is not boring. History is a treasure - a beautiful (and often scary) treasure.
  • Great Channel... A combination of fact and opinion presented in a really entertaining way. Informative, educational and thought-provoking analysis that's perfectly researched, scripted and delivered. Your 'style' as THE PRESENTER has the real 'ring' of 'The Enthusiast' about it, and really broadly appeals. Congratulations on one MILLION (plus???) subs!!! Keep up the excellent work, Nick! xx SF

One thing that can make history seem off-putting is the need to memorize for a test or paper. That doesn't really let you feel like you're exploring the era correctly; it just becomes a hunt for specific information for tests or papers.

As a parent of a high school history teacher, I approve of this channel. And my son does too!!!

QUALITY OVER QUANTITY. This channels lives by that and that's why we love it.
  • Congratulations! You guys deserve all the subs. And I'm here to stay, patiently waiting for the next video (very excited for the Elizabeth: Golden Age review btw).
  • I get so excited every time you upload a new video!! By the way are you going to review of the WW2 movie Midway (2019)? If so when are you planning to release the video? Thx for making awesome content!!
  • You're welcome. I don't remember when I subscribed to you, but you seem cool enough to not unsubscribe.
  • @musstakrakish
I have a deep love for movies, history and story telling. You bring all three together perfectly! And as a bonus I always learn something new from your videos!
  • What makes this channel, Kings and Generals and the Great War channel (alongside it's World War II channel) so gosh darn popular and great for history people like myself is because you are keeping history alive while actual television stations of the same namesake abandons it's roots for...whatever they have got going on. I don't know how many times i lost count watching history videos in whatever shape and form because i enjoy it so damn much. That at times i do a marathon of it for the whole day without realizing it hahaha. So thank you to History Buffs, and other history channels here on YouTube for keeping the subject of history alive and well.
