I've worked in IT for over 15 years but having had a career break I needed a quick refresh on AD&GP. Could not have found a better video. Straight to the point, well narrated, well paced and slim enough to cover the main points you need to know. Highly recommended video.

I needed to know enough of AD to be able to answer some interview questions, as I have not used it since 2005... I have been a tech for about 30 yrs. I forget things that I don't use. This Video Tut. is awesome! Great job in explaining, and your vocab is perfect. Thank you Kevin.

This is an excellent video. I've been struggling to comprehend the whole AD env for a while now, and this video helped me break that line
  • I know this is an older video, but....Wow, I have been trying to understand and learn active directory for weeks , mainly to see if my existing commercial network would benefit from it. I have watched tons of videos and still did not really understand . I was about to move on and forget about it when I found this video. Within 5 minutes I fully understood its purpose and realized what it could do for my business network and my sanity! Thanks so much for taking the time to put this video out! I will most definitely check out your other classes on Udemy!!!
  • Great video explaining Active Directory and group policy. Perfect for someone pursuing a career in IT. Thanks. Pls ignore my Personal notes: Active directory (AD) = Role in server. Once AD installed system becomes a "Domain Controller". Benefit of AD = Centralized Administration. Can create policies. Can manage all users and computers. No need to be in front of physical PC to do things such as, reset PW or Create user accounts. Should have at least 2 Domain controllers. AD replicates to other Domain controllers.
