You honestly are my favorite person for electronic unboxing/first impressions. Take care!

I cut my driect tv 3 weeks ago and absolutely love the roku3. I watch all my baseball games on mlb.tv with no commercials! Most of the tv shows are commercial free as well. I was paying $213/month for direct tv with internet and now i just pay $7.99ea a month for hulu and netflix. Still get all the shows my wife watches with nearly commercial free!

can this work with multiple TVs or only one? I'm thinking of getting this and canceling cable.

I have a home theater set up with ps3 , Bose LS 28 and a hd cable box. The sound is solely the Bose home theater , if roku 3 has only HDMI (which I have to connect to the tv to get video) , how do I get audio? Pls help. Thanks

Can you stream files from your PC to the Roku over wifi and access them on your screen similarly to the PS3 Media Server? (without plugging in the external hard drive)

Great helpful video. My WD Live TV was not doing much for my MKV external 'videos' so I was on the ropes about another media player. You sir, have made up my mind. Thanks! and just subbed.
  • Is there a size limit on the External USB Drive? for instance, my smart tv cannot recognize drives over 1 TB

Hi, Can you please let me know IF you can change  in the settings the DNS numbers.. kinda the same way that would be done on the wii or xbox360? thank you

thanks for the review. I have a question; my setup consists of a projector behind me and speakers in front of me. Could I have the roku connected to the projector and output sound wirelessly to the speakers via remote?
  • @mikeebbert500
will this device work on a tv that is hooked up to directv.? if the tv has more then one hdmi port
  • @mghc7
Is there really any differenc between this one and the last one besides the headphones on the remote (which doesn't interest me)'and the added memory jack..this doesn't seem really any different to me
  • @MattCo628
exactly how does purchasing channels on the Roku work? if you buy a certain channels does it mean you can stream shows that show on that channel?
  • @kayden2112
Cannot believe how small the roku is. Thanks for the review.

I got two of these several months ago and they're awesome. There are a lot of channels on Roku that live-steam TV stations. If you only watch cable TV for the news, you could ditch that part of your cable bill altogether and just keep the Internet. With the money you save on cable TV, you could afford 4-5 subscription channels and still pay less money than you used to.

does the xifinity wifi hotspot work on here? it doesnt work on my samsung smart tv.
  • @darkknightforU
Does it work in Denmark or does it only work in the countries that sell, considering buying it through Amazon in UK
  • @karinafeliz4199
You did a great job at reviewing and describing how the product works. The video is a bit lengthy but it is very helpful for non-technology savvies like myself.
