Lich done easy:

1. Elf must have the Silver Arrow (found in the forest stage)
2. Elf must have the Levitation Boots (fight the Beholder in the forest stage, collect its eye and trade it for the boots in the next shop)
3. in the Lich room, use the Elf's Haste magic, select the Silver Arrow, and do as shown in the video
